In the land of MoonMills, Randolph is quite the sight to behold, and not because his little MoonSugrr nose glows! He seems to be a reindeer in a fuzzy onesie, all snuggled up and ready to enjoy that plate of cookies and milk by the fire TOTALLY left for him, right? While he has a bad habit of assuming wintery sweets and treats are for him if left out unsupervised, he can always be seen sharing his plundered delights with those around him. When he’s not busy ending the life of a gingerbread family or recreating the scene from Terminator with marshmallows and hot cocoa ( you know the scene ), he enjoys clear snowy nights when the Aurora Borealis dances across the sky and gives him a special kind of magic. Hearing stories of our festive time of year with enough sugar and delight to put a very jolly fellow into a coma, Randolph has decided to pack up and jingle his way to our realm in search of his own little human to call home. During his search so far though, many have seemed to take pause at the sight of him, as he seems to resemble a very particular holiday character due to his very peculiar characteristics. But no one can quite seem to remember who when they see Randolph, until later that night when they finally settle down for bed and are on the brink of sleep to dream of gumdrops and lollipops.

Ransack is a Button Eyed Creeper, and like all Creepers his origins are a mystery. He found his way into Ghoulish Grove with another Creeper and wreaked havoc wherever he could, for reasons unknown. Apple SugrrPups, while adorable, can be quite the clumsy bunch. It's a challenge for their parents to let them out of sight, as these little ones have a knack for tumbling into mischief at the drop of a hat. With wobbly legs and a tendency to slip, trip, and tumble over any object in their path, they initially struggle to adapt. Spending most of their time nestled in trees, these pups take a bit longer to acclimate to their newfound walking ability. However, once they find their footing, their steps rival the strength and grace of any other MoonSugrr type.

Reynolds

When Reynolds was only a pup his parents were so proud of their only child that they innocently, and unintentionally, made him believe he was going to do world changing things when he grew older. He took the hopes they placed in him and he worked really hard in his pup studies and then into his academic studies. Unfortunately, when Reynold got into his local academy and needed to select a career path he couldn’t decide. It didn’t help that every single one we tried he completely failed at. He had tried for three years bouncing throughout the academic system in hopes he would figure out a path to take that would change the world, but he just didn’t excel at anything. He slowly sunk into a small period of depression as he felt like he was disappointing his parents and himself with his inability to be good at anything. He was supposed to do “great things” but was only falling short.
One sunny morning as he lay in his dorm room bed staring blankly at the ceiling, a peer slid a flier under his door for a seminar being hosted by a beloved figure in the MoonMills community. With nothing else to do, and just generally feeling hopeless, Reynolds went. And it was the best decision he could have ever made. He learned about Human Studies from a MoonSugrr named Charlie and what it meant for MoonSugrrs to travel to Earth to find a human to comfort. In his heart he understood that this was his calling. He didn’t have to change the world, he could just change someone special’s world. He then signed up for Human Studies, excelled in his studies, and graduated with flying colors. He know packs his belongings and is prepping to head onto the MoonMills Express to find his human to love and provide the highest quality of support and comfort.

Riley used to be a super happy MoonSugrr up until recently when he received a breakup letter in the mail from someone he thought would be with him forever. No meetup, no call, just a short coldly written note ending in “Goodbye, Riley”.Riley has spent the last few weeks in a miserable spiral questioning their relationship, his faults, the signs of it abruptly ending, what he could have done differently, his place in the world, his future, etc. In allof that misery and anxiety, Riley just keeps remembering the kindness of the mail-carrying MoonSugrr that actually handed him the letter. She asked him to open it in front of her, because she likes to see the happiness on others’ faces when they open a love letter. Riley remembers that her name was Leonore, and even though he thought her request was odd at first, he was glad he didn’t have to face reading that message alone.She was so kind and generous to him that he hasn’t forgotten her. In fact, he’s noticed her walking around still delivering letters and chatting up Riley’s neighbors. Riley can’t deny that he also thinks Leonore has a beautiful fur pattern and lovely face with kind eyes.Even though Riley feels a bit emotionally shaky right now, he would like to get to know Leonore more.Riley takes out a pen and paper to write a letter. It starts with “Hello, Leonore!”

“What can I say about Robbie? Robbie Pondbottom is a lovely and happy soul that hangs out in the slimy and wet areas of MoonMills. The grosser the place, the happier he is. The mud that others avoid, he dives into and sloshes about in. Anytime his more prim and proper sister Lily tries to convince him not to do it, it seems to make him want to do it even more. He told me his favorite song is “Millennium” by Robbie Williams. He said it was the first time he heard anyone with the same name and spelling as him. So whenever I hear that song, I imagine Robbie Pondbottom playing around in the stinky swamps and muddy bogs of MoonMills.”

Rosie is what you would call a procrastinating workaholic. She always has so many plans or tasks she wants to complete but usually ends up just laying on her web and only getting up to grab a snack. Some days, on good days, she’ll wake up and rip open the curtains to her small home and feel the insane urge to take on the day. On days like this she’ll usually overwhelm herself trying to get so many things done that she feels motivated to do. Luckily for Rosie, her many arms and legs help her things done when she feels the best to get them done! She’s looking for a human who can have their lazy days and also their motivated days that overwhelm them 😅 she knows what it’s like to feel like there is too much to do and she wants to be a good helper.

Although a little absentminded Rupert is a fantastic monster to call a friend. In fact, most residents of MoonMills like to refer to him as their BEST friend. Rupert makes everyone around him feel at ease and he loves talking to strangers and making new friends. He has a pretty optimistic take on life that unfortunately leaves him susceptible to being let down often. We all know not everything in life is perfect but Rupert has convinced himself there is good in everyone. When betrayed by a friend he’ll shrug it off and say “perhaps they’re just having a bad day” but negative experiences really impact him emotionally. So much so that when he’s hurt no one will see him for a few days. During this time away from the public, Rupert re-centers himself by gardening.After his 25th birthday he completed the Moonmilk gathering ceremony and hopped the train to make his way to our universe where he hopes to get to his human and spread a little sunshine for them.

Saku is a sweet little pup who was raised by 1 loving parent. She is always quiet around her peers because she simply enjoys listening rather than talking. When she’s at her happiest or content she has a very obvious tell, her little cherry blossom petals shiver a bit. She considers herself an insect humanitarian, which her parent constantly reminds her that doesn’t actually exist. She collect injured bugs and rehabilitates them to then release them into the wild again. Her favorites are jumping spiders and she has a couple she keeps as pets in her room. Although young she has a passion for our world and when she turned 13 years old and sprouted her leaf arms she was given consent by her parent to travel to our human universe to find her human and learn about all the new bugs that can be found here. She hopped into the train and told her parent she would write often and she is so excited to get to her human.

Sakura faced SugrrPups are extremely sweet and absolutely love dancing! They will dance to any tune no matter how big or small! Whistle a tune and they'll come out of the local brush to wave their leafy arms around and giggle at how happy they are to just be alive and dancing with their friends and siblings.

Seaweed Warp, or SeaSea for short, is the middle of 4 siblings. She grew up in a very chaotic household where he eldest siblings were usually in charge while her parents worked to sustain the small family. Often left to her own devices SeaSea would tidy up after her siblings in an effort to make the home look nice for when her parents got home after a long day. It didn’t take her long to realize that keeping both appearance and environment organized made her little mind hum happily so she strived to organize her world. As a young adult she always makes sure that her rice textured hide was puffy and pleasing to the eye and her salmon wrap was perfectly positioned on her body. She’s just happy being orderly.

As the dark hours of the night unravel, you might catch the faint echo of ghostly giggles emanating from the depths of the pumpkin patch, a telltale sign of the mischievous tykes known as Shadow Patch SugrrPups. These young MoonSugrrs hide themselves amidst the towering pumpkins, shrouded by elongated shadows, eagerly anticipating the chance to startle unsuspecting passersby. In their spirited ventures, these mysterious children often form close-knit groups, their mischievous antics reaching their peak during the festive season of Ghoul-o-ween. While their exact origins and MoonSugrr parentage remain a mystery, new SugrrPups mysteriously emerge year after year, ensuring that the town is perpetually infused with a delightful dose of fright and surprises.

Shelly is fiercely loyal and protective of the few in her inner circle. She has always had a partly abrasive personality, but her honesty is what others appreciate about her. She might not be the easiest to get along with, but you always know where you stand with her. Experiencing personal loss in the past has also made her even more protective of those she cares about.She loves spending time with her childhood best friend Iris. Shelly’s bullish behavior is always permeated by Iris’ shy but dry wit. The two make a good foil for each other. Shelly picks on Iris so she can stand back and listen to Iris’ special brand of firework-like responses. If Shelly’s jokes can be blunt like a hammer, Iris’ comebacks can be sharp like a knife.Shelly and Iris both have a mutation where they can grow a piece of fruit out of their heads. Yeah, I know, it’s weird. But anyway, Iris grows a blueberry out of her head and Shelly grows a strawberry out of her’s. Iris has no qualms with eating her head-blueberry. In her mind, it’s similar to simultaneously giving herself a haircut while also enjoying a snack. Shelly, on the other hand, finds this act vile. She would never eat her head-strawberry. She compares it to eating one’s own boogers or earwax since it grew OUT OF HER HEAD. They argue about this quite often, honestly. It makes up about half of their arguments.Both have always wanted to have human companions. They figure they will keep in touch while they are in the human world or “the other side” as they call it. Shelly is looking forward to providing love and security to some lucky person out there.

Cheesecake and Shortcake are two resident MoonSugrrs that are from the same hometown of Sweet Creamery. Although not related they are of the same breed, Strawberry Cream cows. Shortcake is a bit of a feisty gal even though her demeanor doesn’t relay that at first while Cheesecake is a real sweetie with lots of soft cuddles to give. Shortcake will stand behind her friends to provide a ton of intense support and Cheesecake will teach anyone how to make strawberry themed desserts if they’re willing to learn 🍓

Many residents of Autumn Run know Shrubs for his self-appointed job of raking leaves from off of the cobblestone roads and walkways around town. When Shrubs was a young SugrrPup he eagerly waited for his arms to sprout so he could fulfill his proclaimed singular purpose—to rake pesky leaves. When you live in a town eternally frozen in autumn there is A LOT of leaves EVERYWHERE and it always drove little Shrubs crazy. The lack of organization needed to be fixed and so he made it his job every other Monday to rake leaves around time. It was because of this self-appointed job that he met his best friend Snaps. The two made an odd pair, since Snaps loves kicking leaves around or hiding in piles, but either way their friendship works. Shrubs might hate leaves but it was because of them he met Snaps so he realizes they can’t be that bad overall.

“Sigmond Tealeaves is a snail MoonSugrr that co-owns and operates a tea company with his cousin Samuel Tealeaves. The tea company, named Tealeaves after their name, is fourth generation with the Tealeaves family, meaning Sigmond and Samuel were born into it. They enjoy their work and are grateful that they were raised learning this skill set. Recently they have had disagreements because Samuel, a friendly soul who loves dealing with customers, has wanted to expand the company. Sigmond, slightly older and more reserved, is content on keeping the business quaint and local. He is worried that expanding will lose what makes the business special to their community. He is afraid the company will lose its identity if it grows, that it will dilute what made them good. Deep down, he is also anxious about the complexity and various moving parts of a managing a growing company. Perhaps Samuel can persuade Sigmond that growth is a good thing. Perhaps Sigmond can be the practical one who will allow the company to grow at a healthy pace because Samuel also has a tendency to bite off more than he can chew. Time will tell."

Silas is a bit of a goober! He loves skipping around chasing fireflies at night but also cracking off a few groan inducing puns whenever he’s able. He has a very bright outlook on life even though he’s a bit unlucky, ironically. He’ll trip on the smoothest of pavements or choke on the smallest of peas. But he keeps his chin up and always walks away from every situation whistling.

Simon is a MoonSugrr with his head in the clouds. He has a wide variety of interests. He’s the type that starts many things, but doesn’t exactly follow through on them. He is bright-eyed and loves the feeling of starting things. He is beloved by his family and friends, but they all know he is a bit scatter-brained. He does realize that he leaves many things unfinished, which kinda bums him out. He thinks that life is full of so many things he wants to experience, but he has trouble keeping focus on one thing at a time. He’s always on to the next thing. When he really thinks about it, he realizes that his lack of commitment to a project is holding him back in life. He is nervous about devoting himself to a single human friend because he fears he won’t be able to stay focused on that one relationship, but he is willing to try.

His romanticization of life makes him an optimistic friend to have around but this mindset also puts him in a position where he is oftentimes left disappointed. He anticipates situations and has ideas of how they’ll play out in his mind, but when they don’t he can get very upset and easily let down. He needs a human friend to pick him up when he’s feeling down so he can do the same for them.

Snaps is a bit of a rascal and everyone in Autumn Run knows it. It's not uncommon to see Snaps running around town kicking up leaves and rolling around in any pile he can find. He loves the falling leaves not just for the fun they provide to him but because he met his bestest friend in the whole world, Shrubs. Not many can get on Shrub's good side but for some reason Snaps can always make him smile. Snaps makes sure every Sunday he goes out and helps Shrubs clean up leaves so he can jump into them and clean them up again. He loves his home in Autumn Run and he can't imagine living anywhere else.

Sonny is a bit of a jokester. He has a playful spirit that those around him truly enjoy. He hates to see others upset and will do everything within his power to lift their spirits. He especially loves magic tricks and has been studying to be a magician!

SpookBerry loooooves jelly. Especially Spooky Jelly! His family had a tradition where every year, around Ghoul-o-ween, one of his dads would make his very special Spooky Jelly! This jelly has a vibrant purple hue with little sugar ghosts that dissolve in your mouth and is amazing on pumpkin toast. SpookBerry has just been granted the recipe to make the coveted jelly this year and he's so excited to present it to the community during the festivities!

Sprig

Sprig is a talented little SugrrPup, having taught himself how to skip the smooth black pebbles of Lake Merry across the placid blue waters. While most SugrrPups are a bit wobbly on their feet at the beginning, Sprig was running around and creating mayhem as soon as he sprouted his little legs. Most days, when his chores are done around his clan camp, he’ll head over to the lake in hopes of beating his previously set rock skipping record.

Spruce is a cuddly MoonSugrr who spends a majority of her time wandering around the deep woods of Clan Wilds territory, collecting pine cones and leading lost travelers out of the strange and confusing forest lands. She enjoys spending time with children and telling elders some of the stories she’s heard from local travelers.

Star Brights are small imp like monsters that resemble shooting stars. They only make their way to MoonMills a couple times out of the year and absolutely LOVE mischeif. They enjoy following residents of MoonMills around and teasing them or having a good giggle. It looks like some have made their way past the Slumber realm veil and have found themselves in our world. They're going to need someone to take care of them! Are you up for the task?

Sticks

Sticks loves the autumn season but he Is known to be quite prickly when surrounded by a large number of friends or residents of his hometown who also enjoy being outside for the crisp fall season. He prefers to be alone or with a single friend at a time. He gets agitated pretty easily but is fairly easy to deal with when he's one on one. When Sticks isn't being irritable he is gift giving. Giving gifts makes him happy and he loves seeing others smile.

Stout is a bit of a skittish fellow. He walks around, shoulders tense, just waiting to basically leap out of his fur from any unsuspecting noise he might come across. The thoughts go on and on and it’s always so exhausting! He’s decided to make a life style change and head into to the human world to maybe find a friend to help ease his anxieties. Maybe that friend can be you?

Sugar Crash

Sugar Crash, or Crash for short, has worked for the MoonMills Caravan Collective for almost 25 years. He started at the age of 6, collecting tickets during the many fairs he would watch his community set up and tear down throughout the year. He spent most of his life homeschooled in the ways of the human world as his parents often dreamed of him taking that step and bringing comfort to a human in need, but Crash found himself stuck tending to his candy stall, becoming complacent and shirking off his Moonsugrr responsibilities. Lately he’s been suffering from constant fatigue and listlessness, unsure of his life’s direction. In an effort to bring some meaning back into his life, he decided he’d try adopting his parents’ dream as his own and packed up his closest belongings in preparation for his trip to the human world. He boarded the train one bright sunny morning, Moonmilk in hand, and waved a sad but hopeful goodbye to his life in MoonMills.

Summer and Sol are summer twins born with bright blue fur and sunny faces. Don’t let their expressions fool you, Summer may look sweet but she’s actually the feisty one of the siblings. She can be quite temperamental and has a bad habit of causing sunburns to those around her when she gets upset. For all the attitude she brings to a friendship she also brings her strong maternal instincts to defend those she cares about from those that mean to do them harm. Sol, on the other hand, looks mean but is actually quite sweet. He lends his sunny face to help plants grow and he enjoys lending his fluffy cloud arms to lend his friends shade. Both twins are ready to travel to the human world and find friends and make their days a little brighter.

Sunderson

Sunderson, who also goes by Sunny, is the same breed of MoonSugrr that Sonny, Summer, and Sol are. He has a sun shaped face, though it’s a little hard to see, and used to be bullied a bit by the local SugrrPup terrors for not having a more prominent sun face. Because of this he would find solace by spending a lot of time with his parents, following them around, learning what tasks he would be responsible once he grew up, things of that nature. He matured emotionally quite quickly and by the time he was an adult he was already leagues more mature than his peers. He decided early on he would travel to our world and find the human he’s been dreaming of and help them find comfort in hard times as well.

Sweetie

Sweetie is as sweet as her name suggests and she also has a very aggressive sweet tooth. She will stash candy away in a special jar she calls her "happy jar". She will snatch 2 to 3 pieces a day when she is feeling like she needs a little boost of happy in her day. Because of her raging sweet tooth she will usually crash hard for her daily nap about an hour before dinner time. She'll then rise from her blanket pile like a zombie from the grave to grab more candy.

Sylvie is an active part of her schoolyard in the way that she loves creating imaginary worlds to play make believe with her friends but she is also self-proclaimed safety monitor. She isn’t afraid to stand up to any bullies or make more of her meek friends feel heard or appreciated. She is a strong presence not only during recess but in the classroom as well. When called on for her turn to read the daily chapter of the class book she reads loudly and confidently. She does everything 100% and many appreciate her for it while others can find her a bit too much to deal with sometimes. Either way she doesn’t let it cramp her style or determination!

Much like the brown sugar flavored boba tea, Tapioca is sweet and well liked by his community. Often times he will be seen at the local cafes or bakeries just hanging back and talking to anyone around him. Being of small stature Tapioca has learned to make himself seen by being a little louder but also being a little kinder. He firmly believes you can “catch more flies with honey than vinegar” and that’s how he lives his life. With a positive outlook he bought his ticket and hopped the train to earth in hopes he’ll find a human to cheer up one day at a time.

Theodore Burnes

Theodore is a bit of a grump and finds himself being irritable at least 90% of the time. The only time he isn’t throwing a mini tantrum is when he puts on his comfy plaid pajama pants and is munching on a couple of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Although he never lets this be known, he actually enjoys the holidays because, in his mind, it’s socially acceptable to make and eat cookies all throughout the season.The only thing he hates about Christmas is the tradition of leaving his precious cookies out for Santa. But he’s willing to sacrifice a few of the uglier cookies in the batch to get a couple of neat gifts, but only for that reason. Outside of Christmas, never ask him to share because he probably won’t! And never call him Teddy. He’ll give you the silent treatment if you do.

Till Mudstone is a budding sprout Moonsugrr. As one of the leading soil experts in MoonMills, his advice is sought after by farmers and planters alike. He’s even written a book on the subject titled “I Soiled Myself”, which was a humorous (in his mind) autobiography about his life and lessons he’s learned as a soil expert. He has spent his life studying soil biology, soil physics, irrigation, soil conservation, soil management, and soil restoration. Basically, the dude loves soil and will take any opportunity to talk about it at length. Be careful running into him at a party because you’re in for a dirt-y talk.

Timothy

Timothy is a very sweet but fickle MoonSugrr. Pretty much every decision he makes is based on a feeling. Even his logic is based on feeling. If something appeals to his logic, he then acts on it because it “feels” logical. This makes Timothy a bit much to be around sometimes. He’s happy and inclusive, but his fickle nature tends to be disruptive. Content one moment, then jumping into something new the next.Usually his declarations are ill-timed. He tends to want to start a new task in the middle of the night because he feels like it. Timothy is fine doing these tasks by himself mostly, but since he is such a fun and energetic presence to be around, others tend to flock to him when he changes his mind. He never forgets a friend either. Part of his feeling nature is keeping in contact with friends he’s had his entire life. Never forgetting a face or a name, Timothy has an impressive memory when it comes to others. He really looks forward to connecting with humans and getting to care for another “feeler”.
Toxic Void SugrrPups

If you look from your porch into the dark night on the outskirts of Ghoulish Grove you may catch a glimpse of glowing objects deep in the brush of the woods. What some mistake as fireflies might actually be the small horns of the Toxic Void Sugrrpups. These SugrrPups are notoriously stand offish and will scatter if approached. They are known to excel in poisonous magic that gives them their name.

Twigs

If the trees have turned orange then expect Twigs to be outside amongst the fallen leaves. He loves being outdoors and taking large, exaggerative breaths of the fresh, crisp autumn air. His clan of Sugrrs live among woodland creatures like deer, badgers, and bears. Because of this, many of his mannerisms come from the local herd of deer living around him. It's not unusual for him to appear skittish, or rubbing his tiny antlers on nearby trees. If you shine a light in his eyes he'll also freeze and loses the ability to move which is also known as a "deer caught in the headlights". Twigs loves his woodland home but he's ready to explore our world and find a friend to do it with.
